The element of trust given to patients is a daring but outstanding quality which helps them build a more true recovery for themselves by being able to trust the team, trust themselves and then create a better future e.g trust following meal times not instant level 3 observations, wires in rooms, visitors in rooms, things like this make the ward very different to other places. It would be really nice to have a craft group - for making fun things to wear/do/give to friends e.g cards, jewelry, puzzles, clothes, collages, sewing etc. Also music therapy or movement/dance therapy groups can be empowering, provide compassion and be really valuable additions to the program. I love the garden. It's amazing. It must require a lot of upkeep? Can patients be more involved on taking care of the garden to ensure it retains it's beauty?
