The care in the Lancashire Suite was superlative! The staff were professional, knowledgeable, attentive and appeared to be well organised and in command of their various roles and responsibilities - quite different to the attentiveness on a previous cardiac ward which I experienced! The Lancashire Suite staff were clear in their introductions, instructions and information - from the domestics through the ranks up to the sister/ward manager and more than a couple of members of staff were outstandingly brilliant. I have absolutely no criticism whatsoever although the trust might try to reign in staff with big personalities and low voices especially if they are on a night shift. To be fair some of the patients appeared to enjoy or tolerate the inane rapport and vivacity.
