Everything OK.
Personal, friendly and empathetic.
Staff on admission on surgical admission excellent when moved to ward 9. Staff just as helpful and very pleasant to be around made stay bearable.
They were helpful had time to talk.
Simple things make life better when tou poorly.
Excellent care given.
The nurses in ward 12 were brilliant under the immense stress put upon them. They have to take the brunt of everything. Anesthetist team very good as well.
Understanding that it is important to refer to me by the name which I use. Although this was written on the board at my bedside nurses and doctors did not always use my preferred name. Please remember to check prior to addressing a patient by their official first name, as this can be upsetting when the wrong name is used.
Care was very good. If you had any problems they were always to listen and try to help.
Explain things to you and making you feel quite comfortable.
S N nurse who treated me on Monday 20-3-5.
S N nurse who treated me on Tuesday 21-3-1
Same as above.
Lack of communication between doctor and patient. Frustration caused when being told different information by different staff over different shifts.
Very insensitive when miscarriage patient being treated by pregnant S N 21.3
Unclear treatment path.
The only thing good about my stay on this ward was the regular tea lady and my partner being offered one as well.
All staff were/are excellent in caring and providing.
Information, to which sometimes is confusing. (Medical knowledge).
