Meeting others instead of being in my own home. The therapy treatments. The loving care of all staff. The help of nurses to try and help me with all problems and worries I have. The art and crafts table. Counselling offered.
Nothing to improve.
Welcomed into Brian House by staff who spoke to Emily appropriately.
asked how she was and filled in day care form.
When I picked her up she was happy, clean and fed and a member of staff playing with her. I was told about her day.
The Hospice at home staff were an emergency lifeline to myself and my dad when my mum was gravely ill at home. They visited and provided an array of advice, guidance and expertise whilst being very warm, caring and providers of great hugs! When my mum passed away we contacted them in the early hours of the morning and they were here within 45 minutes. They talked us calmly through the next steps and then laid my mum out, changed her clothes and completed the necessary procedures. At such a horrible time it was the ultimate relief to have such sincere and genuinely caring professionals in our home. Our heartfelt thanks go out to all on the Bispham team.
The day therapy centre was offered to my mum when she was still able to get out and about. They offered a wide range of activities and nice food and drink. The collection service was great and they would collect her early morning and bring her home late afternoon. It also gave my Dad a break from caring for her. Many thanks to all who helped her.
The nurses dedication
Their supportive care
Their understanding
The staff here do their utmost to tend to our comfort and needs. We are able to completely relax and discuss our needs and worries. And face our future, however long or short, without fear.
The information from the physio, has been very useful and proactive. The aromatherapy has helped immensely. Big question of what happens at the end of my sixteen week period, can I kidnap the aromatherapist and physio (only joking)??? Love the food.
