Share review of Trinity Hospice
My mother's last request was to be cared for in the Trinity Hospice.
The care she received in her last days could not have been better.
At the time the unit was understaffed and could only accommodate 6 patients.
We will be eternally grateful that she was able to have this last wish and for the care she received from all of the staff.
A nurse i spoke to said it was privilege to work there and she would not want to work anywhere else. I was very moved by what she said.
The building and garden has a calm and peaceful feel about it.
At first i thought it strange to have a games room but having spent a few days there i realised that having somewhere to have a little time out helped us to cope with the emotions felt during this sad time.
Thank you all.
