I really felt cared about. I was able to go to an evening rehearsal which maintained some normality. I have felt safe. I have felt respected.
It was cold and I only got a duvet night before last. Night staff occasionally spoke loudly to each other. (I understand with patients).
Michael, Cheri Chase, David. Blyth, Charlotte, Millie, Carren, Fay (medication/relaxation class brilliant). Julia, Ann (self esteem class) amazing. Marion, Victor, Susan porter, Stephen, Ria. Caroline and Anna (cleaners/cooks). All so lovely and kind and make being here so much better. Even Dr Longford now I know him better.
The staff are all fantastic. There are 20 women patients on the ward so trying to juggle so many things and still making time for us for our requests, our concerns, or just a chat, staff really have been so amazing. For me personally it helped to see new and old staff members. I found it comforting seeing familiar faces who I felt I knew from previous admissions. It has also been great to get to know new staff members too. Communication is really good on the ward, helps so much.
I forgot to mention Heather and Shanghai (not sure how to spell name). I think the board could be updated. So many amazing staff. Michael is brilliant, everyone, Sue, Linda, Laura, Marion took me on great walk, lots of good vhats. Shanghai makes me laugh. I love all the staff so much, it will make it very hard to leave. As they understand what it feels like and don't judge. Humor too!
The food, walls, bed, some staff.
The staff could be more kind, happier, smillier (?).
At least 1 times a day with everybody I can imagine it's not easy.
I want to write a list of so many amazing staff members. Laura is so patient and always willing to support and encourage ideas. I loved having the opportunity for escorted leave with Laura to Aidi. Also Laura has helped so much with a card. I want to move for my blind sister. I even said I want to paint the trees occasional and Laura offered to teach me and knitting too. So many amazing things to say about Laura, she is so so talented herself and really bring out compared others :-). Amazing!!
Staff were understanding and despite busy in level 5, made it as easy an experience as possible. Staff were kind and gave me plenty of time to talk. The restraints were hard to cope with and I did end up with many bruises. Laura was particularly excellent.
Brilliant care, got to go home early
