Permant members of staff have the upmost compassion and respect for patients and genuinely do care. The downfall of ruby ward is the number of agency staff. I have observed several members of agency staff failing to meet the needs of patients. Agency staff seem to have very limited experience of how the ward is run, they do not engage in patient care and put the ward, permant staff and patients and huge risk.
