Staff friendly & efficient.
Cannot have the trail drug due to the delay of the Troponin test the later I take the drug means having to take it early hrs of the morning. Plus I have not eaten since this morning at 6.30am and is now 14.30.
The clinical care and emotional support are excellent. The whole team - doctors, nurses, HCAs, ward hosts, cleaners and porters are friendly and supportive. There is clearly excellent team management from the matron, ward sister and junior sisters.
I was very impressed by the level of care received from my original visit to the Dermatologist and follow up treatment after the biopsy.
Excellent standard of care and treatment which I could not fault in any way. All of the staff at the Royal Marsden were kind and attentive throughout.
I have found all the staff I have met at Royal Marsden both open and will to discuss my cancer. They have always had time to sit and talk which has ensured that I have all the information I need and, more importantly, I am not rushed as is the case in other hospitals I have dealt with.
