The nurses are lovely and so is the service but the wait for the medicine and transport is a little too long. The food is okay, but not really enough choices for ethnicity. I've enjoyed the massage therapist and the art therapist are lovely and also I loved the pamper evening and Ella making my stay more grown up. I didn't like being in the bay with children of younger ages. I would've liked to be in a room of my own or a two room bay with someone nearer to my age.
I was well taken care of by very nice staff and nurses.
Everyone was so kind and explained the procedures and what to expect. The waiting was a little long (due to staff shortage) but the staff made sure that i was able to get to a subsequent appointment within the hospital on time.
All very good.
All staff are very professional
Good care received throughout treatment.
The staff on Kennaway ward haved been very caring and supportive, I couldn't have asked for more. Everyone is so professional and were always there to help.
However, I was in bed 10, which is a single room. The fan in the room could not be switched off and this disturbed my sleep.
The receptionist called the maintenance team, who came along and managed to stop it overnight, but the noise came back the next day. Anyone who uses this room after I have left will have a problem sleeping - noise.
This was my first time in this hospital as an inpatient. I was very impressed with the care and and suport from the doctors & staff on this ward, no time was to little they had time and patients with every one on the ward.
I'm treated with care, compassion dignity and friendship by all members of the staff. There is sometimes waiting involved, but explanations are invariably given. Phlebotomy was chaotic at times, but from my point of view it resolved by taking blood on the ward.
