Always treated so well at the Royal Marsden. The blood test lounge is often over crowded but needs a large notice to say you can sit in the large outpatients’ lounge and watch the numbers countdown.
All the people & services were good. Staff were excellent
Staff & Meir expertise (medical)
Helpfulness of reception staff
(usually) calm sense of order - inspires confidence.
After waiting in the reception zone, moving through to the waiting area outside the consulting rooms is stressful. but the worst time for me is the delay when you are in the room waiting for the doctor(s) to come in. Could something be done about this? I'd rather wait outside the room until the doctor is ready to see me.
Only thing is bloods take a long time but all else is good.
Smithers ward staff excellent and very caring.
Doctors, anaesthetics, surgeons etc all excellent and caring and personable.
The radiologist doing the mammograms could not have communicated more with me about what they were doing for the needle insertion images.
The rooms for mammogram and needle insertion were quite cold.
I have felt same and cared for throughout the day. Wire insertion was least positive part of day.
Very good service. Seen quickly.
I received very good treatment.
Not sure what the delay was but my treatment was not ready for my appointment.
