My own experience has been very positve from an initial breast screening to be recalled just over a week later for further screening was very good. Once i had a biopsy and it was confirmed i had cancer i was talked through possible treatment and given time to think where i'd prefer to be referred to with that decision made appointments moved quickly and i was fully informed about procedures and my treatment plan. I personally think from having a mammogram to 8 weeks later starting treatment is very quick and reassuring. Cancer is very stressful to come to terms with.
