Royal Marsden Sutton MDU 5.3.18 would be intrested to know your policy on visitors to the unit who are obviously not well. I was sitting all day near to a patient who's partner was clearly unwell with a cold/cough/chest infection. Several nurses during general chit chat made reference to this fact. He was coughing spluttering and sneezing all through the day. The room was full and very stuffy, so the risk of germs spreading to other very vunerable patients seemed very high to me could he have been given a face mask, or at the very least reminded to cover his mouth, use tissues, wash hands frequently etc.. none of which he is doing.

The staff are very helpful and friendly. It is quite a wait to see the doctor. It would be helpful to be seen on time, especially when waiting for important results.
