I would like to express my sincere thanks to all of the nursing staff on Surgical Ward 4 during my recent stay at Princess Royal University Hospital. Every member of the team was outstanding, but I would especially like to mention Marilyn and MJ, who were both incredibly caring, professional, and supportive throughout my admission. Despite the ward being extremely busy, overcrowded at times, and the weather being exceptionally hot, the nurses remained calm, patient, and professional at all times. They always treated me with kindness, dignity, and respect, and nothing ever seemed too much trouble. Whenever I had a problem or concern, it was dealt with quickly and efficiently. The team also went above and beyond when I needed to attend an appointment at another hospital, helping to organise transport and ensuring everything ran smoothly. It was clear that the staff were working under significant pressure, yet they never let this affect the care they provided. Their dedication, compassion, and professionalism were evident every day, and they kept everything running safely and efficiently for all patients. Please pass on my heartfelt thanks to Marilyn, MJ, and the entire nursing team on Surgical Ward 4. They are a credit to Princess Royal University Hospital, the NHS, and should be very proud of the excellent care they provide. Thank you for making a difficult and painful hospital stay much easier. The kindness, reassurance, and professionalism shown by everyone on Surgical Ward 4 will not be forgotten.

I accompanied a family member on their journey from the A and E department through to a subsequent admittance and surgery. I could not speak more highly of the friendly, caring and professional staff met throughout the various departments. We hear a lot about the poor response sometimes in the NHS, but Princess Royal staff and facilities were amazing. Well done to all of the team and managers who lead their departments and monitor standards so carefully. Congratulations and thank you for being so kind to my relative when they were at their lowest and most vulnerable.

I know NHS is busy but if you was to stop trying to hit just targets and take real care of persons it would be a massive plus

A & E department then on ward after being turned away 3 times. Passed out in A & E was on a stretcher seat for 3 days nights. When put in to a ward no one could find out what was wrong with me. Different doctors saying different things. Couldn't always understand them. Food great. After 2 weeks turns out I have Ulcerative Colitis.

I attended the Outpatient Fracture Clinic. I received excellent treatment, thorough assessment/investigation and all done extremely promptly. I was given advice on managing my current knee injury and follow up investigation/scan has already been requested and physio appointment arranged. Truly grateful for the excellent care received so far. I was assessed by D Vincent Moore who was very reassuring and thorough.

Called Princess Royal today and spoke with their supervisor Sam who hang up on me 10 times and was very rude, unprofessional, obnoxious, no matters and needs 12 months of training. I needed the lung function department and i had rang 10 times and she refuses to transfer and was shouting on the phone including her line staff. They need training to understand that they are working at a hospital and such behavior is unacceptable. How bad this can get?? MANAGER OBNOXIOUS AND STAFF OBNOXIOUS. SO WHO IS MONITORING THAT PATENTS NEEDS AND CARE ARE UP TO ITS HIGHEST STANDARD!!!! I AM IN DISTRESS AND FRUSTRATED BECAUSE I AM TRY TO GET THIS DEPARTMENT FOR 2WEEKS. THIS IS SHEER UNPROFESSIONALISM AT ITS BEST!!!!!

So I have been in the Princess Royal Hospital in Farnborough a few times. The last time that I attended was two days ago. I am still in hospital since then but thought that I would use my time in bed to write this review. I have noticed that on this occasion in particular, everyone from the consultants right to the cleaners have been nothing but polite, friendly and caring whilst maintaining their professionalism. The thing that struck me the most is how clean the hospital has gotten. They even woke me at early hours in the morning to clean the floor of the room that I was in. Trust me , I have been in some dirty hospital and wondered what happened to the days when you would walk into a hospital and it would smell of bleach. Princess Royal has not disappointed me one bit in the least. My only sadness about my visit was to watch the staff rushing around on their feet and wondering if they will ever take a break. To watch in A&E certain members of the population attending this hospital and behaving badly. I don’t think that the other patients or staff should have to put up with this sort of behaviour. Having said that, the staff seems to manage around them to continue with their work and even treat those people with gentleness and politeness. I think that all the staff should be paid very well for the amount of work and dedication that they put into their job. Well done Princess Royal.

Outstanding maternity care I was lucky enough to give birth to my baby in August on the oasis midwife led unit at PRUH. I cannot speak highly enough of the incredible midwife and midwifery student (I think my son was her final birth as a student) who cared for me and my son. They were compassionate, kind, so highly skilled and trusted me to give birth without intervening. They listened to me and my partner. As a second birth after a traumatic birth, it was a really healing experience and I am hugely grateful to the incredible midwives. Care on the assessment unit and postnatal ward was also excellent although of course this can be a chaotic environment. PRUH midwives, you have all my gratitude and respect, thank you for what you do often under extremely challenging circumstances
