Good care given by all. Shame on TV or Radio having spent day on the ward.

The staff were very attentive, and did very well at keeping your calm. An excellent team who work together well. Couldn't ask for better care.

Review of Marton Suite Post Delivery (Ward 16) written by a patient
7th September 2016

The midwives, health professionals and baby doctor were all really friendly and helpful. My baby didnt feed very well at first due to mucus but the staff persevered with her and managed to increase the amount of milk she was taking. They were always on hand to help me with feeding and winding. The only thing that could be improved was the amount of staff available because when I was waiting for all the paperwork to be done so I could go home I missed my dinner thinking I would be out before then. Its not a criticism of the staff as they are rushed off their feet and very busy. Jenny gave me some smaller more neutral clothes for my baby to wear as I only had white with blue and had a little girl.

Review of Marton Suite Labour (Ward 16) written by a patient
7th September 2016

The midwives were very good at their job. They told me exactly what I needed to do at each stage and helped me to keep calm by encouraging me and telling me how well I was doing. This was my 2nd baby but the 1st one that I delivered without any extra help so I was worried about how it was going to go and wasnt sure when I needed to push but the midwives Hannah & Marian were really great at helping me with this. I cant remember the name of the midwife who was there for the first half an hour of my labour but she had a kind and calming nature.
