This was my first time in hospital and I have had a wonderful experience. Better than I was expecting if I’m honest. The whole process was efficient and calm and organised. All the staff without exception, from the catering staff to the medical team were kind and courteous. I was cared for by my nurse Joanne all day who helped me have a calm and pain-free day. Nothing was too much trouble. I was checked regularly after my op, provided really lovely food, and plenty of cups of tea. My room was clean and bright, and I the bed was so comfortable with all the adjustments. All in all I cannot recommend the Alexandra highly enough, but especially Joanne and all the nursing staff who took such good care of me, aswell as the surgeon Mr Satyadas and the Anesthesiatist who were so caring throughout. Thank you to all the team, do you an amazing job.
