This is a little gem of a hospital hidden in the Cotswolds .
Their service and dedication throughout has been exemplary, starting with the initial consultation , communication, pre op assessment and surgery .
I had a inguinal hernia repair in the peak of the winter covid pandemic and the whole process from being covid tested two days before right through admittance on the day, prep for surgery ,consultation,,the surgery ( not that I remember as anaesthetised ) , recovery and ward care after was perfection … pure poetry in motion .
A huge Thank You !!! to all involved .
I can’t make any suggestions on how to improve as I don’t believe there are any .
I wish you all a Happy New Year 2022 , keep up the good work, keep safe , your dedication / professionalism shines through and the more trainees that learn your standards will keep the NHS in good hands
THANK YOU
Just had hernia surgery at the hospital. Everything went like clockwork and all staff were really helpful and friendly. Everything about the experience was top notch and I would not hesitate to recommend the hospital to anyone.
Particularly good was the fact it's a really small hospital so all staff know each other and you feel like they all enjoy their work. This rubs off on you and gives you confidence in them. Free parking is also a big bonus!
Really nice hospital with great staff
From the time I arrived, until the time I left, I was looked after very well by caring and attentive staff. All aspects of the medical procedure were discussed and I received answers to all the questions I had. The hospital appeared to be very clean and hygienic.
Tetbury Hospital is amazing - lovely, clean and spacious. The nurses who took care of me are incredibly caring and friendly. Jenny spent hours with me making sure I was ok before and after my operation, which she needn't have bothered doing, especially as she was dashing around doing other jobs at the same time. Sylvia was charming too. She took my blood pressure, which is naturally very low, and made sure I was ok before setting off back home after my op. Amanda, another lovely nurse made sure I was ok when I was being anesthetized and coming back to life after my op. Lisa double checked the forms I filled in were correct and was incredibly friendly. Mark the anesthetist explained everything in understandable detail that was going to happen during my op and was really easy to talk to. Mark Whittaker the surgeon, took time out to talk to me and explain the procedure of the op and came and saw me afterwards to make sure I was ok. Susan, who did my covid test 2 days prior to my op, had to come out to my car in the pouring rain and conduct test through my car window, whilst getting soaked. She was really friendly and didn't complain about the ghastly weather at all! I feel I have come away from a stint in a five star hotel!
All the staff were absolutely fantastic and looked after me really well can thank them enough
So lucky to have a hospital in our lovely town. Especially when you know some of the staff. Beautifully run and very efficient.
Loved everything about this place....just wish it was open to a lot more conditions.
ALL staff amazing
All staff were caring and polite throughout my visit.
During the operation, every thing was spot - on with the COVID Cleanliness and nursing staff were kind and caring to keep me at ease throughout .
Wonderful care given and thoughtfulness.
