Whereas I have only attended the Chemo Unit, I can't comment on the rest of this vast hospital. I have found that the staff in the Chemo and Haematology Unit are all top notch. Caring, competent and friendly and (apparently) unrushed.
The nurses in Room 10 are terribly busy but they still have time to smile and pass the time of day. that helps a lot when you have cancer. I suppose we are a bit fragile, so a friendly smiling face puts one in the right frame of mind to confront this illness. The volunteers who fetches tea and sandwiches were an unexpected pleasure.
I've tried hard but I am blowed if i can find a single thing to complain about. Not even the parking outside seems to be a problem.
