I am so grateful for all the care I received from everyone involved in my care after Aortic valve replacement surgery on 22/5/24. Thanks to the Howard ward for my first night in preparation for surgery, the surgery team from Mr Bosco to Sara Volpi and anethatists and supporting staff thanks, the ICU department for my after surgery care and for giving my wife the opportunity to see me briefly after surgery to reassure her and Doulton high dependency unit what a fantastic team of people from doctors to cardiac nurses to pharmacist and the carers bringing tea and food you are a special group of people who I will never forget. Not only your professionalism but the human touch you all possess is something that will stay with me for the rest of my life.
