Review of St Peter's PFS - Bereavement Services written by a family member

I was given the time and space to share my worries and thoughts with no judgment. In fact my feelings were legitimised so I never felt like I was not doing enough, healing fast enough and I was never judged I had this support very early on after my father's death and I needed it to be able to see my way forward. I felt like I was drowning and the support given allowed me to begin to know I could move forward.

The care was amazing. I really did not think it would help but I did! She knew me so well and was able to guide me safely and securely. Thank you.:-)

I was seen by Gary Reeves who treated me very well and showed understanding and always listened to me and understood how I felt, he is very good at his job, I felt after just 3 visits I was able to deal with the bereavement of my wife her. The was not anything that I could think about that would improve in already good service. Thanking you.

Wendy phoned me every week, and was very helpful and reassuring. All though I am still grieving over losing mum in April when at St. Peters hospice through cancer. The phone calls I found were very helpful to me I donated mums clothes to St. Peters hospice Staple Hill this is what she would have wished.

Gary urged me to complete my will, which was the right thing to do. Not all the questions here apply to the counseling I received.

Pippa was supportive, flexible and reliable. I benefited a great deal from her advice and it was a great source of comfort at an extremely challenging time.
