The staff at Rowans ward have been nothing short of incredible. They have shown such compassion and understanding that it melts my heart. Their kindness and support will remain with me in my memory bank for now and ever. I can’t thank them enough for their empathy, emotional intelligence, gentleness and love. The team bonds together so well, despite being a different dynamic of staff each day and evening. From the HCAs, nurses, doctors managers and consultants, nothing is too much to ask. They are also such a great team to have a laugh with and have provided me with creative outlets and strategies going forward. They will forever remind me of rainbows and hope that there is treasure at the bottom of those rainbows of colour so long as you dig deep enough and respect the staff and be kind to yourself along the way. A combination of creative therapy, chats with staff ams patients alike and medication has helped me along my journey. Building trust with them is paramount and so easily done as they are all so kind. A big thank you Rowan’s.
