Review of Coronary Care Unit written by a patient
3rd August 2016

All staff extremely caring, kind and professional. I have been in CCU more than once and the care really is second to none. I would however like medication dealt with and discussed at the beginning if possible as delays in regular meds can cause stress for all concerned.

Excellent space privacy and dignity. Good responding from staff. Medication/control of drugs not ideal medication seemed to be played with to a certain level required rather to a patient history.

I was very impressed with the care I received, and the interaction between staff and patients. You ring the bell for something and the staff are there. All the staff be it porters, cleaners, any of the nursing staff, the staff do meals. They all want to help, nothing is to big or small. If I was ill again this is the place I would like to come.

Review of Pre-assessment and Admissions Unit (PAAU) written by a patient
3rd August 2016

On time to see nurse, which is good. I'm due for cataracts surgery in 2 wks but hadn't had eyes measured for the new lens. If I hadn't asked them this would not have been due until I arrived up on the day of surgery. I suggest one of your (many) questions for people coming in for cataracts is "Have you had your eye measured for the new lens". This would avoid issues on the day of surgery.

The breastcare nurses are fantastic. True professional. I don't think there is anything that could be improved upon.
