Staff are always lovely. But this is the 2nd time I have no had to attend a pre-op check for the same operation, due to the 1st operation being cancelled the day before it was meant to happen. I had organized having the afternoon off for this pre-op check, then I received a call the afternoon before asking me to come for a morning appointment for the pre-op check instead (staff illness). I, along with others I'm sure, have been messed around to the point it causes needless stress, both for myself and my boss who owns, a small business. I am awake that sometimes things can happen like this, and although annoying, staff do try their best to help.
