collaborative, person centred care was offered at all times by the nursing team and OT's. They have been adaptable in their nursing skills, giving me the correct coping mechanisms that I can continue to use in the community.

Suggested improvements
At times, there have been discrepancies with the use of de-escalation and other "ward" rules which have been unhelpful. Not getting a debrief following a patient having a seizure was unacceptable.

Response from St Mary's Hospital

Thank you for your feedback, I am sorry that you experienced difficulties during your admission. Sandpiper works in the least restrictive way possible however in order to balance patient safety and the comfort / security of all, there does have to be certain expectations and ward rules. These are displayed and included within the welcome packs, if you have any suggestions or wish to discuss further please contact Sara Johnson on 03000 273504
