I had an outpatient appointment for a sigmoidoscopy on the 22nd February and the care I receives was exemplary.
The staff are very professional and caring. I was treated for the procedure by Dr.Flora and Dr.Richard Holman who were extremely caring ensuring I was comfortable at every stage. The nurses in Room 5 were Narela and Marie who were absolute angels. The recovery nurses were equally brilliant.
From the moment I entered the Endoscopy unit every nurse I met were very lovely and made sure that I was comfortable and warm by giving me warm water and blanket as I was cold and they also switched on the radiator for me.

Team is very much efficient especially Babita she always pays attention to detail and care needs of the patients.
Suggested improvements
All good - may be more staff as the nurses usually struggle to take breaks and we as patient feel bad about it.

The staff who looked after were exceptional professionals I was very impressed with your kindness and caring./nThe professor who did the procedure was amazing with thoughtful very gentle and very aware of my needs all staff were very reassuring throughout. I am so proud of them.
Suggested improvements
No except the waiting room was quite cold and it is very noticeable in the { } gowns you are given to wear otherwise the total experience was relaxed and comforting - the best experience I have had for a while (I am a 40 year under at of the NHS, so I know!)
