This was the first time I had met the ibd nurse Marion O'Connor and I would like to say what a pleasure it was, she explained everything so well, I felt I could ask her anything without feeling silly.Marion was very thorough and already knew all about my medical history it gave me total confidence in her, it is so much appreciated when you are feeling worried about your symptoms or what is going to happen to you.I would also like to mention Hannah, another ibd nurse who has been a great help to me whenever I have phoned with my worries, she really listens to you and always gives sound advice. I cannot leave out my consultant Dr Arebi who I feel saved my life, after coming from my local hospital where I was treated appallingly, to meet this wonderful lady, whom I had total trust in from that very first meeting. I am so very grateful that I am under St Marks even though I have a long journey it is more than worth it.
