I came for a GTT test and was seen by [name removed]. Very unfriendly with poor communication on what will be done in the test.
I came into the room door was slammed shut. I was told to do remove my jumper no indication that bloods where to be taken. Then a drink was placed in front of me with the only words “drink it”.
I feel a bit more bedside manner is required. Especially with pregnant women.
Suggested improvements
[name removed] needs to improve on her communication skills and how she deals with patients. I dread to think what she would be like with children.
