The care I god was brilliant, very informative.
Care was excellent, Cathy the nurse was very helpful, she explained everything very nicely.
Excellent, caring and loving support throughout until my husband's death.
- A great spirit of kindness.
- Good listening and genuine feeling that the St. Luke's team member (Paul, then Carolyn week later) were interested in my (and Dane's) circumstances.
The care was fantastic - staff made a horrendous situation easier to cope with. Everyone was compassionate and professional. Thank you!
Can't fault the service.
We were grateful for support of any kind. However help wasn't given until I was at breaking point. I think there was a tendency to look at my husband's cancer alone instead of considering all his conditions. The care for personal care only came when my back was in agony and night care came at 3 nights per week when I was exhausted from lack of sleep.
Everything was explained clearly and was directed at me personally. I was not rushed and was allowed time to understand what was said.
The care my husband the patient received from your crises team was excellent in every way. They showed such compassion and kindness towards him as well as us, his family. I will never forget you all. However, in future do not send a St John's ambulance to collect a cancer patient. My husband suffered horrendously on that terrible journey to Plymouth with them. A formal complaint has been made and is being investigated. This does not reflect in any way on St Luke's.
The staff was always at hand, and very sensitive to our needs they made the transition of alans passing very personal for me.
Thank you to all.
Very knowledgeable, had looked into my notes and especially the medication I was on. Very caring, in what is a difficult time for me, made to feel very comfortable, no rush to get me out the room. A very thorough examination, I wasn't treated like a piece of cattle.
Excellent service.
