My son is 12 and has autism and a learning disability and I explained that he needs to be spoken to in short simple sentences and that’s exactly how Jennie Shand talks to him and he understands fully what she’s going to do and even looks forward to his appointments now, counting along with her while she’s descaling his teeth! Exceptional service from day one of attending this dental surgery. I have no worries about taking my son to these appointments as I do others where they take no notice of me and talk to him in ways he doesn’t understand and ignore me completely and he normally ends up distressed or anxious whereas this has never happened at this dental practice. Also the reception staff are extremely helpful and friendly too.
