I was pleased at the early response to my referral being made, to receive contact from St Helena staff. I was concerned at details for the contract being changed and specifically about the sharing of information. The fairly short-term number of sessions did help focus my attention upon the priority issues, yet also gave a sense of feeling rushed/ dragged by the system. I was grateful of the high degree of empathy offered by the counselor.

Thank you to Chris for all his help, I feel a bit stronger now. We've talked through things and its given me the strength to make very difficult decisions and stand up for myself more. I still miss my partner intensely but Chris has helped me to see new and different ways to cope in very difficult personal situations. Thank you Chris and St Helena.

Everything. From initial contact until after my husband passed away I always knew help was only a telephone call away - especially at night. Always treated with dignity and respect and the support was outstanding. Thank you for all your help through a very difficult time.

It was good to have somebody (Emma Mazerolle) listen to me in a holistic way, and to be able to discuss with her the possible ways forward. During 2 years of treatment for ovarian cancer. I have seen many wonderful doctors, nurses etc. but not had an opportunity for a proper “overview” which Emma offered me. I shall certainly contact her/single point again if I need to. It is a great service. Thank you.

Sharon has been absolutely superb with her care and therapy. It is helping so much to relax and recuperate. I am getting stronger due to the lovely reiki. Thank you Sharon! Thank you St. Helena! NB I have done a donation and will be doing another when I get paid. Thank you again.

She received excellent support at a time where she felt vulnerable and overwhelmed with various emotions of grief. She was helped to make sense of her feelings in a safe manner and age appropriate. We as parents were also guided on how best support her.
