He was very informative.
Kind, caring, supportive staff.
My daughter was given fantastic care. Her social worker has been amazing. Its nice to know she can go back at anytime we need.
Sympathetic and understanding and very helpful and caring.
It was the GP who suggest contacting single point, and it took us some time to work out how each "agency" would provide their mutually exclusive support.
Similarly it was a steep learning curve to understand the relationships and responsibilities of the different agencies with regards to who prescribed medication, how they were administered for repeat prescriptions, discontinuing medications, and how to prevent repeats of prescribed medication that were not currently being used. My partner was discharged 2 days before Christmas fitted with a syringe driver and taking oral meds that were not regularly available through local pharmacies. She has now passed away. I would recommend that any improvements that can be made to GP agency GP communication would be most welcome - particularly for the patients and their carers.
Outstanding from start to finish. Nothing was too much trouble, everybody was kind and friendly, really helped me get back on my feet, and realise I'm not alone with my illness.
Transport was provided as I have had my license revoked and the drivers were great guys and great company for the short journeys to and from the hospice.
Everybody was just great. :-)
My care from Nicky was really helpful and useful. I now have more confidence standing and transferring. I'm much more comfortable using the bed.
What could be improved?
A physio should visit after a hospital bed has been delivered to a patient, to ensure they are using it safely and properly.
So relaxing! I would not need anything changed. It was perfect in every way and helped relax me.
