Rick came to see me and talked about the treatment and options St. Helena hospice could offer me. It is very reassuring there is someone to help me when the time comes.
At the moment I am coping alright who knows for how long but I will keep going in my home as long as I can.

The care given to my dad has been lovely he is always saying the ladies are lovely they have been so caring, and do things at my dads pace so he can still fell part of the process.
I would like to say how great they have been in supporting and helping me unlike other carers and we are really sad it is coming to an end but officially happy dad is still here the only thing I would.

The good thing about my care was that they would always listen to you and they would never change the subject. Also they were always kind and caring. They never argued with you if they disagreed with your opinion.

I have not completed questions 4 and 5 as they do not apply. that is I only had meetings with a counselor at my local St. Helena site in Claeton- on- sea.
Just talking to the counselor was a great help to me in dealing with my wife's illness.
My thanks to Wendy Lightfoot for the help she gave in listening to me

Really felt looked after and cared for growing to trust people again just from my therapist.
Not one thing I would change.
Very welcoming staff on front as well.

Up until the corona virus hit I was so completely glad of the hospice support and lifeline.
But, obviously not the fault of the hospice I feel just when I need the support it has gone. I know they are always on the end of the phone, but still...
So sad.

Anita's team were so fast to respond they made all the difficulties of care so much easier. They demonstrated an amazing level of compassion.
Making a difficult journey to end of life so much more bearable for both mum and us all.
