I have always been a very independent person, the thought of strangers doing my personal care, terrified me, the ladies from St. Helena hospice have been amazing. They have helped me shower each morning. They have treated me with real care and kindness. I cannot express how grateful I am, they made me feel relaxed and cared for. They really are all special people, thank you.

I personally thought they covered everything very well the staff were thoughtful very kind- I did not think anything was missing it was very enjoyable.

I was a friend and carer for the patient along with her neighbours. We were at the end of our tether with trying to get help/support, when we realised that things were getting beyond our capabilities. After being pushed from pillar to post, somebody mentioned single point, who we contacted and within 2 hours they had placed the patient on their virtual ward and 2 nurses were here, immediately taking control, Their compassion and care for both the patient and us was exemplary, and we would not have been able to manage without them! We cannot praise single point and their staff highly enough for those nurses, it was not a job, but a vocation.

The nurses were absolute angels especially Emily you were there for me whenever I phoned could not fault the care provided.

I was a friend and carers for my 92 year old neighbour. In desperation we contacted single point who arrived within 2 hours and set up their virtual ward care. The staff were beyond believe. Their patience with the patient was remarkable and they were wonderful to us and eased our burden. We would like to thank all staff who attended in our hour of need. What can you do better? Increase salavin.

Dear St Helena hospice I would like to thank you for the care and attention given to my mother the patient during the last week of her life. Also the care for myself and my family we were comforted knowing that mum was well cared for.
