I believe my father was treated with the care, respect and dignity that I myself would want to be treated with.

Review of Hospice in the Home
8th June 2022

The virtual ward looked after my brother [name removed] at his end of life. Anne-Marie, Aga and Rachel were all amazing with my brother, and my interactions with Becky and Cathy were also top class. They could not have done any more to guide and reassure my brother and myself through this traumatic period. Thank you so much to all.

Suggested improvements
Only slight negative was the time it took for me to have [name removed] death verified, which was more down to the time of his death in the early hours.

Review of Adult Bereavement Service
8th June 2022

Amber made me feel so much better in such a short time, she was kind and respectful and replied perfectly every time I spoke. She didn't just listen, she helped me to discover and unpack everything in my mind relating to my loss, and even pointed me towards another type of counselling that could also benefit me (trauma counselling).

Suggested improvements
I can't think of anything

Review of Adult Bereavement Service
29th May 2022

At first I wasn’t sure if bereavement telephone counselling would be the best choice for me but Right from the very first session with my counsellor Lucy I felt at ease. I received tremendous support from Lucy and am so grateful for all the help I received.

Suggested improvements
In my own personal experience I don’t feel any improvement is needed.

Review of Adult Bereavement Service

Lucy was very good in helping me in my bereavement counselling.

Suggested improvements
It would have been helpful to have had a face to face service. I was eventually offered video after saying that I did not think telephone would help me.
