I had a wonderful reflexology session with therapist Jenny. Her beautiful smile coupled with an amazing technique was therapy in itself! Highly recommended!
Not many decisions were made for me.
I was able to tell her everything without feeling silly.
I came away feeling disappointed in myself for not being able to move on, this was not the councilors fault.
Thank you for trying to help me.
I always think 'shall I go today?'. It is such an effort I get so short of breath in getting ready but I go.
Thank goodness for going! Always come home feeling on top of the world, happy I fit for anything. To think I nearly had second thoughts about going. What else gives me such pleasure? Nothing!
Very grateful for all the care and support. Thank you.
Friendliness good nursing peacefulness in ward.
Slight maddle ovecr what medication and when - self administered or not? Hopefully this was settle down. Also muddle - the timing and order of treatments i.e why was suppository delayed until it nearly clashed with the paracentesis? It could have been done hours before indeed, should have, to give full benefit. Why was paracentesis promised at 10 am that it was imminent, yet did not happen till 3 pm?
I found the course to be well run and the specialists who attended gave a good guide to what was available to our loved ones. I found it very useful to talk to fellow carers and learn from them. Perhaps it would be possible to visit the actual hospice area at some time during the course.
Everything listened. No one judged what was said and everyone had their turn to speak.
I was "heard" something that has been missing in my life.
The hospice and staff and all the services it provides goes up.
