Consistent and courteous care ( home visits weekly at present) by nurse Nickie Blake. Her personal compassion, sensitivity and friendliness in updating one with any condition. Full sharing of different decisions - and obviously good liaison with District nurses (ACE) and local GP (ACE).

This from is difficult to complete in many ways. This was the first visit to explain what is on offer when assistance and care is needed. Emma was very caring and patient, but many of the boxes seem to relate to "care" which we haven't actually experienced.

It has been a great relief talking to Wendy. She has helped me to acknowledge the changes in my life since my mother's death and the way forward. Thank you Wendy.

I had counselling after my husband's bereavement. The conseller was very helpful and a good listener, who helped me with some good ideas to get me through those initial dark weeks.

It is nice to meet others with similar conditions and to do some exercises to try to help with our breathing and relaxation. And they make a nice cup of tea.

This was the only place that gave me information and advice on breathing exercises.

There seems to be a caring core at the heart of everything I have experienced with the hospice. This makes it a very pleasant place to be. Not an improvement, maybe an 'extra' group for younger carers and/or teens and young adults who have parents with cancer.
