Review of Bereavement written by a family member
4th August 2017

Everything from the very start my brother was diagnosed with bile duct cancer, was so wonderful the support he received. As a family we were also included in his care so we could support him to give him the best possible life day through battling his cancer. After he passed away we have been supported still and we are so blessed to have had you all helping us through the most toughest time in our lives. You are amazing. Thank you :-).

The RV who supervised the group organised in such a way that cliques did not form, by making sure that nobody had a set chair at the meetings. She also got experts in to discuss various topics connected to bereavement which on the whole were useful. I do not think that there is much that can be improved at Clacton.

As far as I can say it's well explained my view there's no room for improvement.

The care I had was excellent. I had massage on my legs which really helped as I had a reaction to steroids that made my legs swell. The care was also put in place without us asking for it which was good because I didn't know you would have this treatment. Would love to have some more massage if possible.

I am unsure whether the gentleman who called on me for nine months - whilst he was an extremely nice person - I do not think he really understood my particular circumstances. To be told that (at the end of my nine months) I was deemed to be depressed and upset because of where I lived and not because of the loss of my husband! How wrong could he be!
