Sometimes when needing a bathroom break (urinate) there has been a delay due to staff doing more important tasks. Otherwise care from everybody has been excellent.

Just being able to spend the time talking about how I feel was good. I was able to explore and identify why I felt the way I did. For me the care was excellent and as everyone is different don't think it could be improved in my case.

I was just what I needed. It was nice to talk to someone apart from family about problems and the loss that I have had. I was listened to and not judged at all and I was about to book the appointment around my work.

Bereavement counsellor Joniea was excellent. I started to see at the right time post my bereavement. I was allowed to cry, be angry and talk openly which helped me. Absolutely fantastic service. More money needs to go into the service without a doubt.

The care was first class.
All the staff were so friendly and caring. The patient was very happy being in the hospice.
St Helena Hospice was awarded the iWantGreatCare certificate of excellence in 2024 for delivering outstanding care.
