The staff are wonderful, very helpful. If I didn't come to group I would go downhill, I always happy. :-).
The patience and kindness of all the staff. This course enables homeland people to get out and socialize and meet other similar folk. It helps with interaction and the activities are very beneficial.
Kindness, listening to outdoor worries, for a start, I come here miserable (often) and go home happy, contented and ready for anything. The carers are wonderful and nothing is too much for them. The only thing wrong is the time is too short.
It was all good. Very good.
I have had the most caring and helpful in every way. I praise each and everyone and more than thank you.
The staff were brilliant on this course.
Josh Wilking was very helpful, friendly and approachable. I found him very easy to talk to. He told me about services I did not know I was entitled to re: blue lodge and PIP payments. There were all completed for me by your team, very efficiently without causing any stress to myself. He also coordinated and softed our different medications for me via doctors and was very supportive when I was having a good time with my breathing introducing me to various courses available at the hospice.
He also helped my mum dealing with the worry of me, my dad who had to be admitted to a care home with Parkinsons and the sudden death of my sister. The overall service I, my husband and family has received has been outstanding and I am still benefiting from the various courses available. I now know that going forward I have a great supportive team which is easy to reach behind me.
St Helena Hospice was awarded the iWantGreatCare certificate of excellence in 2024 for delivering outstanding care.
