I was made to feel very comfortable, could talk about my thoughts and feelings and did not feel. I was being judge. Would not make any changes at all.

I had wonderful care during my 14 days in East Bergholt ward in Colchester General Hospital. The doctors and nurses and all the staff couldn't do enough for you, were making me a lot drink during the night. The doctors did everything to get the best pain relief for me and made sure I had it to carry home. I cannot thank everyone enough for their care, friendship and help. May God bless them all.

Review of Bereavement written by a patient

I am so grateful to St Helena Hospices bereavement team for sending Terri to help me through my grief after loosing my husband in May last year. She was so kind and made me realize what I was going through was completely normal with the different stages at grief and reassure me, she aloud me to cry and in fact she encouraged me! which helped. She was an angel that came at the right time, who gave me the confidence to move on alone. I still miss my husband very much and feel lonely at times but I remember her wise words of encouragement.

I didn't know where to turn or what to do. I wanted to die to be with him and I would of done it if Lorraine hadn't of helped me. When I said I was OK, she knew to keep asking me and actually said, do you want to die too? She got me through that and then I could cope. I wouldn't change anything at all. She was so kind.

The care, professional helps and information is brilliant. I am so grateful for the advice, which would be possible to improve in any way. I hope I may be considered to attend other groups because the benefit I get out of attending makes my life as very much improved in every way.

I don't think anything can be improved. Learning to breath properly. Anxiety management was really good.
