Referred by GP. The one-t-one session were very intense and provided vital support. Then going onto group therapy sessions enabled me to widen that support by being supportive to others, as well as learning from them. I felt as though I had a lifetime. I felt that I was not alone in coping with my grief - although I was lucky to have more than the allowed sessions. I will miss the group and its support staff greatly.

My experience with the bereavement group was excellent. Although I initially had one to one bereavement visits which were unavailable and helped me immensely. I got a lot from talking to and listening to other people in a similar situation to myself. It's nice to be able to talk to someone who'e not going to get embarrassed if you get upset. The service you offer is wonderful and I commend you on your caring staff. I have heard that because you have such a long waiting list you are thinking of reducing the amount of weeks you are initially offering. I personally needed those first 12 weeks and feel a lot of those people in group with me would agree. It sometimes takes quite a few sessions before you can open up. Thank you for your wonderful care.
