Review of Rehab Team written by a patient
1st August 2019

I enjoyed meeting the other people in the group, it helps to share and talk about our problems. The staff were very supportive and kind, especially when I was unwell, they followed up with my daughter to confirm that I was receiving correct care. Thanks to all the staff.

I think the service is perfect for what it is intended for. Although hard it was good for me to talk about whatever I wanted even if it wasn't about my loss. I have finished my sessions knowing I can come back if I wish, which is comforting.

Knowing that I had someone to speak to about my loss helped. Karen Pullinger made me feel safe and able to talk. I feel very lucky that she gave me so much of her time. I will definately let others know about his wonderful, helpful service.

Review of Community CNS written by a family member

The young lady that cared for my husband, was Emma Marerolle, she was a lovely caring person who put my husbands mind at rest and mine until the end of his life and I thank her with all my heart. I am so broken hearted, it will take me a long time to come to terms with his death. We would have been married 50 years this October the 25th. I'm so upset he didn't reach this but he was tired got bless him.

Review of Bereavement written by a family member
27th July 2019

This review is based on the bereavement support one to one sessions and the group one at Colchester run by Mary Lanehan. The support I received form Mary was second to none. I felt able to speak openly about my recent bereavements in the one to one sessions. The group sessions were with Mary and also Leanne De’ath. Leanne was very easy to talk to and empathetic . I didn’t find the group as beneficial as the rest of the group had lost their partners and I had lost both my parents. Towards the end of my time there , a couple of younger people in similar situations to me joined. I am grateful to have met them and we are in contact regularly. Thank you for providing this wonderful service for us to benefit from.
