I was totally impressed (positively) with the care my husband received. From the moment we were admitted the staff realised the ward was too busy/noisy - and moved us into the activities room where we stayed until my husband dies the following morning. When in conversation with any of the staff eye contact was maintained. Voices were kept low. A squeeze of the hand or pat on the shoulder were reassuring and caring. I felt that every person we were in contact with gave themselves the support we needed and assessments by the doctors was immediate and followed up so that my husband didn't have to suffer unnecessarily.
