I was counselled by [name removed] and she helped me to look at things in a different way. She was kind, considerate and above all caring. Through my grief I have felt an immense amount of guilt but [name removed] helped me to see that what I did was done through love for those I had lost and nobody could have done any better. In fact on one occasion she said that she hoped she had someone like me when her own end was coming. On the last session she ended it by saying that it had been heart breaking to hear my words but at the same time an immense pleasure to speak to someone who was caring, loving and such a strong person. Sometimes it takes someone on the outside who is unbiased to point out the good things and to help turn a negative into a positive. Your service is so important to people like myself who feel lost at times of grief, and I can only hope that this service continues for many more years to come. I will forever be greatful to [name removed] for her kindness each week and her words "it is OK ...". I now feel with her help I can now move forward with no regret and no guilt. Thank you again for providing this important free service Yours eternally greatful [name removed]
