I am writing a review following the fantastic care that I have received, from when I first contacted St Helena, to the most recent call. I had the support of the palliative nurses through my mums short fight with cancer, and I then spoke weekly with Cristian, after losing her so suddenly. More recently I have been having weekly bereavement counselling with Chris Booth. The support I have received I will never forget just how kind, caring and understanding they have all been throughout this difficult time. You don't realise what a difference you have made and I want to thank you all very much. I want to offer special thanks to Chris, who has listened through my tears and offered amazing support and guidance to enable me to deal with everything. Especially helping me with the grief I have been dealing with, and still have, after losing my mum. She was always my 'go to' in times of trouble and also to share the happy times. Chris has helped me to understand that it is okay to cry, okay to be sad, but also okay to think about those happy memories. Thank you all for just being there.
