We were reassured to have this care, especially for their advice and help with analgesia. They were able to organize the GP with requests for medication and were very useful to us as the cancer hospital and the GP did not seem to be in sync and the cancer hospital did not seem to be interested in pain only PSA results. I think we may have benefitted from earlier referral to the service.
