The befriending service allowed me a few hours each week when I could leave my mum knowing she was in good care Judith and Hardeep were extremely friendly and professional.
The environment of the hospice is excellent. The rooms - grounds are well maintained which makes you feel comfortable when staying as an inpatient.
Face to face communication with another person.
I was extremely pleased with the care and attention afforded to me on all my visits to the clinic.
A smile at reception and a hello would be appreciated by some of the staff on above duties.
The care was excellent.
No improvement needed.
It was very informative and not too much bombardment of info all at once. The caring and the compassion of the nurse was prevalent. But most of all she listened to everything I said without being judgmental. Its just nice to have someone around to share anything as family and friends aren't always there and don't always understand.
Tracy was clear in what she said and didn't make any false promises. She set my mind free and said I should do as my things as was able but to rest as well. She was lovely and is coming again a week on Friday at 10.00 am. She has offered to show me around.
The whole of the visit was extremely good. Was put at ease from the beginning and everything was explained very simply so was easy to understand.
This was my first contact with hospice staff. I was reassured by their care, professionalism which allayed my concerns.
Always well received, treated very well.
