Sent to the hospital by the NHS physiotherapist for urgent treatment on my knee. It was made very plain to me by the Spire specialist Mr Richards that I was an NHS patient in a private hospital. I was given a cursory examination and told to go away and take Ibuprofen.
When I asked why my knee was giving out and I was falling over I was told it was just a symptom of arthritis and to take Ibuprofen and live with it.
