I was very impressed at how the Spire Cambridge Lea Hospital had adapted during the Covid epidemic. My consultant was Mr Neil Kang. He performed a full shoulder replacement surgery for me in August this year. The whole procedure was carried out efficiently. The operation was a complete success. I am now able to do things I haven't been able to do for years. Throughout the whole procedure all the staff treated me with kindness and respect. I couldn't have been cared for better. And the aftercare was excellent in these difficult times. I have had zoom video consultations with Mr Kang since the operation to discuss my recovery. He said it was one of the worst joints he had seen and we are both pleased with my post operative outcome. He will review my progress in a year. I am extremely grateful for what Mr Kang and his staff have done for me. I can't thank them enough.

Hospital and staff all were exceptional, nothing to small or insignificant to them. All pre-op procedures completed with care and kindness. Surgery was performed and I never felt a thing!!! Post-op care was again exceptional. Saw Mr Carrothers post-op and given green light to go home. I had no post-op issues clips taken out as planned and next meeting with Mr Carrothers also went very well. I have just seen Mr Carrothers again 11 months on from my surgery all is great with my new right knee. Many thanks to all, Greatly recommend all.

Following two years of great pain it was a great relief to have a precise diagnosis of my condition by this hospital. Everyone I came into contact with was courteous,helpful, considerate and kind. I could not have wished for better care. We will recommend this hospital to everyone we meet in future.

When I was treated for a herniated disk 2 years ago ,I was pleased with how quick I was scanned and supported . I have no got another issue with my neck now and I had a telephone call appointment this week with my consultant Dr Lainge ,this was my choice as I was not confident in using zoom on line . I personally would prefer a face to face appointment with my consultant , but due to the current covid situation this was the best option for myself Dr Lainge listened to my concerns , he also made me feel at ease . I was given time to discuss all my health issues and was supportive and understanding .. Thank you.

Staff were very helpful and, having been advised that a special request had been made for my wife to accompany me, they took the time to check this and she was allowed in. They were very calm even though there was a queue of people waiting to have temperature checks.

I've had 4 experiences here on nhs and found it excellent. It was clean, comfortable and reasonable. I was treated as an adult and allowed to get up and go to bed at leisure (apart from on days of surgery etc.!) Food was lovely and the freedom for friends and neighbours to come was marvellous, and they got welcomed with tea and coffee etc. from the catering department.

I was treated with exceptional dignity and professionalism from everybody from reception to nursing and all other support staff. A great big thank you for the care I received as I now feel fit and healthy and well on in my recovery.
