My husband came into A&E after falling from his push bike. He hit his head and hurt is side. He was seen by a junior doctor who advised that he would need to see a more senior doctor after being with her for 35mins. Approximatelly 1hr later my husband had still not been seen or advised of what was happening. After speeking to the sister on three occassions, who was sitting chatting. She informed us that my husbands notes were "missing". The sister eventually advised us that the notes had been found in another bay, she said "sorry" as she walked away from us. A doctor then approached us and stated that she was extremely sorry about what had happened and would be speak to the junior doctor tomorrow to find out what had occured. My husband was seen by another Doctor shortly after this, he stated that the doctor quickly checked him over and sent him home. it would be helpful to be informed of what was happening when there are such long waiting times when speaking to nursing staff a more caring attitute would make the situation easier. seeing the nursing bay full of nurses, students and other staff chatting is not helpful when you feel nothing is being done being told that your notes are "missing" is very concerning especially when they have been found in another bay. surelly this would breach confidentiality as other patients could have access to the notes. also the sisters lack of concern was worrying. My husbands name is Mr Crowther.

Everyone Germaine came in contact with was pleasant, helpful and kind. She was made to feel that nothing was too much trouble and was put at ease when being treated and checked.

Caring and professional attitude shown by staff and consultants giving people their first names even to the patients who are not quite aware is very caring.

All staff doctors, nurses, domestics looked after me really well. Every body kind and caring. I don't think there is anything to improve. Thanks
