I was seen by Laura Pointz in physio today (08/02/18) - Great service and offered me advice which I have never received before or ever thought about. She also mentioned other options that I could try too.
If I was to sum up the level of service in one word it would be OUTSTANDING !!!
Went in for an arthroscopy on the 1.2.2018. All the staff were faultless, caring and superb in their job. Couldn’t ask for anything more from any of them
I had two day surgeries by Mr Matthew Trotter which was straightforward and quick. I was cared for very well by everyone and pleased with my treatments.
Once I was sent home without treatment because they discovered my blood pressure was at a level not suitable for surgery. I felt this was correct and that staff felt I was at risk.
I was quickly give another date and had the surgery done at a later date.
For my aftercare Solihull Hospital we're excellent
Would like to thank Vanessa Swales and team for looking after me while I had my hernia operation.
Was well looked after by all the staff.
Thank you

I recently underwent a laparoscopic sterilisation as a day patient. The level of service and care from the ward staff was outstanding. The staff especially on this unit are fantastic, couldn't have asked for better care.
Attended Day Procedures Unit Wednesday 11th January for an Arthroscopy procedure on my left knee. I have nothing but praise for my experience from reception, nursing, anaethstatist and surgery staff. I was fully informed at all times, treated with respect and friendliness and put at ease throughout my time there. I sincerely thank all the staff and would thoroughly recommend Solihull Hospital based on my experience.
Me and my family were blatantly lied to when asking about time of my discharge then after being told I could leave on Thursday evening I was told at11 am there was a problem with a blood test taken on the Wednesday. Comical and shabby behaviour
The majority of staff did their best as very busy but there are two girls who stood out as useless. They came into me the morning after my op, could hardly speak and no "Good Morning". They asked where my towel etc was and told me to go to bathroom and have wash and change out of gown into pyjamas..no offer of help! After a painful struggle I went back to room where they were looking at my notes. They just looked and walked away as though I was a leper!. The overnight nurse made more noise than was necessary. I was in room down corridor with door ajar and she kept me awake all night banging and thumping, I am sure it was done on purpose, there is just no need for it. The food was excellent, I was very impressed with the standard and choice
peadeactrics at solihull hospital have an amazing hard working team
